Training/Guided Tours: The registry and the HLA-Laboratory of the Stefan-Morsch-Stiftung have been offering hands-on training for people interested in the administrative work as well as laboratory techniques.
Guided tours through our departments for individuals and small groups (for example biology classes) can be arranged. For appointments please contact us.

The Stefan-Morsch-Stiftung is also an approved institution by the Bundesamt für Zivildienst.

Recently the Stefan-Morsch-Stiftung has also become an approved institution of the „Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband” for people to take the gap year to do voluntary work in the social sector (Freiwilligen Sozialen Jahres).The „PARITÄTische Wohlfahrtsverband Landesverband Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland e.V.“ which is situated in Saarbrücken is an approved agency for the „Freiwilliges Sozialen Jahres (FSJ)“.

HLA-Workshop: Annually the team of the HLA-Laboratory organizes a workshop for professional colleagues, in which the basic knowledge are being imparted and current issues in the context of HLA-tying, immunogenetics and stem cell transplantation are being discussed. The workshop will generally be approved as continuous education by the German society DGI (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Immungenetik) and the German Medical Association.

Since 2001 the Stefan-Morsch-Stiftung has been an approved training company for office management assistants. In 2008 the foundation received a distinction from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Koblenz for the very successfully trained apprentices.
